The Hurley Rec Drop in Center is a great place for children to hang out while their parents are at work or running errands.  One participant stated “it’s the best day ever” while playing games in the pool with their counselor, Katherine.  It’s a great opportunity to get the most out of your Hurley Rec membership.  Need to grocery shop, run errands, a little quiet time at home?  Leave the kids in a safe environment with supervision away from the TV., video games and computer.  The Hurley Rec Drop in Center is open for business and the kids are loving it.  

Hours of operation are 8:30am till 4:30pm.  Leave them for a full day or a half day, it’s your choice. 

New for 2009 Season the Hurley Rec will be offering a Children’s Drop-In Center.  Members of the Hurley Rec will be able to drop their children, ages 7 years and up off at the Rec for a full day or half day of planned activities.  There will be Staff to check the children in/out and plan activities with the children throughout the day. Activities will include basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, etc.   

Full Day Session         8:30am – 4:30pm                    $25.00/day per child
Full Week discount                                                     $100.00/week per child

Half Day Session        8:30am – 12:30pm                  $15.00/half day per child
                                   12:30pm – 4:30pm                  $15.00/half day per child

 If Parents need extra time in the afternoon to pick up their children they can stay up until 5:30pm for an additional fee.  Please complete attached form for extra hours.

Sign up sessions will be held on June 13^th at the lower pavilion; however you can print out the sign up sheets and mail them along with payment to The Hurley Rec, P.O. Box 58, 50 DeWitt Mills Rd., Hurley, NY 12443.  Checks should be made payable to the Hurley Rec.

Drop-In days will begin June 29^th and run through August 28^th provided we have enough children to fill those dates.

Payment is required two weeks prior to the start of the session.  We will have two sessions (First session will run from June 29^th through July 31^st; the second session will run from August 3^rd through August 28^th).
